About Me
I am currently in my final year at University, set to graduate in July in Fashion Marketing & Retail Design. Life could not get more exciting right now; from where my passion began in my teens for the love of fashion that I have today. While taking the final steps of completing my degree, it has made me feel like I am ready to pursue a career in marketing. From growing up in a small town in Wales, with sometimes not knowing which way to turn with the future of my life, it was not until the end of year 2 of my degree I knew I wanted a career within the marketing sector.
My degree has not only prepared me for the future paths that I am ready to take with the equipped skills that I have gained, but has helped me grow and develop as a person. I have never felt as confident as I do now in my mind, self and ability. I believe in the work that I do, and stand by what is important to me. Going forward, I would like to continue developing my skills and knowledge while creating responses to new objectives. Whilst being at the start of my journey, and enjoying this time, the dedication and hard work will never stop.
Work Experience
2016 - Present
outfit
sales assistant
Working as a sales assistant has taught me so many skills and has made me into the person that I am today. Assisting and helping customers with their buying needs, by using product and brand knowledge, and being aware of the current trends that may influence their buying decision, which is all part of a good customer service experience. Maintaining the standard of visual merchandising through window displays and mannequins within the store. Having the responsibility of being in a team leader role and working together as a team to ensure goals and targets are met.
Jan 2019 - Feb 2019
unify brand partnerships
social media intern
Being a social media marketing intern allowed me to have daily access to social media pages and post content that was relevant to the brand. Was able to see and work on trend books, while sending stock to dispatchers and adjusting things to the website to make improvements. Worked on marketing campaigns for the brands and got to edit images from trade shows and post to social media pages.
